Tengo el siguiente controlador de webapi

Estoy intentando probar las solicitudes a este servicio utilizando MSTest. Primero, solo quiero enviar una solicitud al servicio, he intentado hacer esto (usando este ejemplo ) a través de

Pero cuando publico esto al servicio, el objeto recibido es el predeterminado, este es uno con todos los valores predeterminados. Así que en RegisterFunction estoy recibiendo

rsd { Name = "", Movement = 0.0, Quantity = 0 }

q. ¿Cómo puedo serializar correctamente mi objeto usando NewTonsoft.json y Post To Me Service?

No hay necesidad de crear HttpRequestMessage si se usa HttpClient.PostAsync. Simplemente construir contenido y enviarlo.

RegisterFunctionDto rsd = Utils.GetRegisterFunctionDtoObject();
string serializedDto = JsonConvert.SerializeObject(rsd);
var content = new StringContent(serializedDto, Encoding.UTF8, "application/json");    

HttpResponseMessage response = await client.PostAsync("api/Function", content);

También puede ser explícito en contar la acción de unirse a los datos del cuerpo de solicitud

//...
public async Task<IActionResult> RegisterFunction([FromBody]RegisterFunctionDto rsd) {
    //...
}
